Soaking up the sun.... planning!

Hey there, good to see you again! I'm showcasing a layout today of me, planning in the sun at Brimham Rocks last year.

The kiddies and Craig love to climb the rocks, but I really don't. Craig parked me on a bench and bought me a cup of tea, and left me with my new planner.

I love the pastel Evho Park papers, they just screamed summer to me! I also love all the flamingos in Scrapbooking stash too, so the tag had to go on my layout.

Here's a close up of all my layering on my layout, which I love.

Distress Ink Box

Hey there, good to see you again! Hope you are all ok!

Today I'm showing you something completely different!!  Over the last month or so I've been collecting Tim Holtz Mini Distress inks.

I had them popped in a plastic box until I found a purpose made box for them from Candy Box Crafts.

What I didn't realise was that the box was flat packed, and had to be made up. Craig to the rescue!!!!  Craig made the box up for me, I primed it ready for painting, Craig then painted it, stencilled it and applied a coat of acrylic gloss paint to seal it. It was a lot of work, but I love it!

I used my Thickers gold glitter alphas to personalise my box, and I bought some beads from Hobbycraft to put on the cord for the box lock.

This is what it looks like on the inside. The box does hold the bigger pads too, but since I've taken this photo I've completed my collection of mini Distress inks, and my box is now complete!

Just like a snowflake.....

Hey there, hope you're having a good week!!

Emily loves the snow and has been abit miffed that we've not really had any snow to talk of. The minute we did have a little sprinkling, she was straight outside.

I love these BoBunny vintage style papers, so I printed my photos out in black and white. I also used my new We R Memory Keepers Frame Punch Board!  As it was a winter layout, I've also used plenty of Stickles Glitter Glue that doesn't really show up on the photo.

So Proud layout

Hey there good to see you again! Hope you're all ok!

Craig did the London to Brighton Bike Ride last year for the first time. He completed it in just over three hours, and actually finished before Emily and I could get to the finish line! We were so proud of Craig and what he had achieved. He had been out on his bike for months before hand slowly clocking up the miles.

To record the memory, I scrapped a picture of Craig and his bike and his medal. I used one of the fundamental rules of Scrapbooking and let my photos dictate the colour of my card stock. I normally also put my photos nexrnyo one another, so I tried a different configuration this time, which I loved!

Howdy Sheriff Woody

Hey there, good to see you again. Hope you are ok!

My friend Zoe bought a pair of Toy Story Van shoes that I fell in love with, and without me knowing, Craig bought me a pair.

Of course, me being a scrapper, I had to take a photo of them and scrap them. I decided that I had to use Toy Dtory themed papers, take a look.

Again, I used a Silhouette cut file to cut out the red hat and neckerchief, but the papers and stickers were bought from Capture the Magic.

I love my Woody Vans, which have Andy wrote on the sole of the right foot by the way, and I love this layout!
