A 25 year wait Layout

Hey there, good to see you again! Today the layout I’m showcasing has a story.

Craig and I have been going up to York for 25 years to stay over and shop. It’s one of our favourite places to go.  Now if you know York and the surrounding area, you know that the famous Betty’s Tea Shop is in York. This is my absolute favourite tea Shop, and we into the shop every time we go, but we’ve never sat in for an Afternoon Tea, mainly because there is always a long queue.

We went up to York on New Years Eve, and we finally got into the tea shop, and I had an afternoon tea (at 10.30am in the morning).

I scrapped these photos on New Years Day, as this occasion had to go in my scrapbooks.  I couldn’t eat one of the cakes, so I bought it home in a box.  The lid of the box made it into my layout.

Even though you can’t tell from this picture, I have lifted my photos away from the box lid. Normal every day items aren’t normally acid free, so I didn’t want it to touch my photos.
